Odd Man Out: a one-man show with Marty Nemko
On Saturday, March 2 at 7 PM, Chanticleers will proudly present Marty Nemko’s Odd Man Out.
Ever felt like you don’t fit in? Not felt good about yourself? Had trouble rebounding from a setback? Marty Nemko sure has.
Facebook and LinkedIn make everyone seem great but beneath even successful people’s profile lie less impressive truths. Odd Man Out shares Marty’s. He hopes his attempts at resilience and self-acceptance will be helpful and maybe inspiring to you.
“Odd Man Out” is Marty’s solo show, full of surprises! It’s a comical, musical autobiographical retelling of Marty’s life journey from a lonely, misunderstood kid living in a Bronx tenement to an accomplished entrepreneurial educator and counselor. Along the way, there are laughs galore, wisecracks and wise insights, delicious music and a rich conversation with the audience. Come and take part in this unique experience. One night only.
As a special bonus, Marty and his wife Barbara wish to invite anyone who donates $150 or more to Chanticleers Theatre to be their dinner guest at Paradiso.
*Marty Nemko served as President of Chanticleers’ Board of Directors from 2010-2011 and directed Neil Simon’s Broadway Bound in 2010. He is an avid supporter of community theatre and Chanticleers is grateful for this benefit performance.
Tickets $25.00 adults or $20.00 seniors, students & military. Tickets are available online (see below) or by calling 510-SEE-LIVE (510-733-5483). All proceeds benefit Chanticleers Theatre.
